Assembly script based on the classic Aesop’s Fable; The Tortoise and The Hare. It focuses on encouraging kids to work hard and not to compare themselves with others.
It has speaking parts for 30 children and includes some use of background music.
This can be used for any class year 2 and up.

A welcome back assembly script to introduce kids to some of the changes Covid 19 has made on school life. The assembly can be adapted to be given by the staff or a class. In my school it will be recorded by the year 6 children and staff members and shown in every class as we are unable to accomodate assemblies.
Staff members thought this was a fun and light way to highlight changes in the school, but also to emphasize the love and care which is still in our school environment.
It includes 29 speaking parts, 1-2 acting parts and 2 songs with lyrics and links to music.
